Proposed concept
Assess whether a natural water resource can support an engineered cooling system.
Armenia
A proposed natural cooling concept requires resource verification and engineering validation.
Discuss your requirementsExplore the cooling and power concepts as separate engineering systems.
From the water resource concept to customer equipment.
From supply requirements to customer equipment.
Cooling and power, considered together.
Explore how resource conditions, system interfaces and customer equipment inform an infrastructure brief. Explore cooling and power separately to see the questions each discipline must resolve.

Verify resource availability, permissions, seasonal conditions and the limits of the available evidence.
Define hydraulic separation, water quality, materials, maintenance access and heat-exchanger sizing.
Agree supply and return conditions, flow, pressure, controls and the equipment cooling interface.
Document equipment heat loads, manufacturer limits and commissioning acceptance criteria.

Establish load profiles, supply conditions and the evidence required to assess feasibility.
Define rack feeds, protection, metering, earthing and maintainability requirements.
Agree the required continuity strategy, dependencies, test procedures and operating responsibilities.
Confirm electrical interfaces, start-up behavior, sustained demand and acceptance tests.
Natural cooling begins with understanding the resource across the seasons. Assess water availability, source temperatures and permitted use alongside heat-exchanger design, water quality and equipment requirements. Measure the complete cooling system under defined operating conditions to evaluate its efficiency.
Assess whether a natural water resource can support an engineered cooling system.
Define water treatment, heat exchange, redundancy, monitoring, and commissioning criteria.
Publish measured efficiency only after verified operation. No PUE or environmental savings claim is made.
Establish measurement methods, seasonal behavior, resource rights and the conditions that affect design. Reported temperature values must not be presented as continuous operating measurements.
Evaluate isolation, filtration, water chemistry, corrosion, flow and pressure. Requirements depend on the chosen architecture and manufacturer limits.
Set measurement boundaries and record operating conditions before comparing efficiency. Water temperature alone does not establish system efficiency or environmental impact.
